Announcement on Winter Break Pilot Courses and Enrollment

To encourage students to make flexible use of the winter break to take courses, a pilot program of winter break courses will be implemented in this academic year. Relevant information is provided below:

  1. Three undergraduate Common required courses will be offered:
    • PE116A066 Physical Education (Swimming) (I) (0 credits)
    • TCG057302 Investment and Asset Management (General Education, 2 credits)
    • TCG084302 Intimate Relationships (General Education, 2 credits)

These courses will be recorded under the 114-1 semester and no credit fees will be charged.
For detailed class schedules, please refer to the
Course Query System and select the “Intensive Course” option (the remarks column will indicate that the course is offered during the winter break).

  1. Course selection and grading procedures are as follows:
    (1) Course Selection Period:
    From December 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. to December 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.

(2) Course Selection Method:
Course selection will be processed manually using the paper-based
Manual Course Selection Form.
After obtaining signatures from the student, department, and course-offering unit, the form must be uploaded to the designated Google Form.

(3) Enrollment Limits:
If the number of applicants exceeds the course’s maximum capacity, whether to expand the quota will be determined by the instructor.
If the quota is not increased, enrollment will be determined based on the order of submission.

(4) Announcement of Class Opening and Enrollment List:
After the course selection deadline and compilation by the Office of Academic Affairs, the list of offered classes and the enrollment list will be announced on the Office of Academic Affairs website.
Once the enrollment list is published, students included may not withdraw from the course for any reason.

(5) Course Registration and Grades:
Course selection and grades will be recorded under the 114 Academic Year, 1st Semester, and will be included in the 114-1 semester academic performance evaluation (including academic dismissal review).
Courses may not conflict in schedule, and students may not retake courses with the same course title.

(6) Eligibility:
Winter break course selection is limited to courses offered by this University only.
Cross-institutional enrollment (including the Three-University Alliance) is not permitted, and students from other institutions may not enroll.

(7) Deadline for Instructors to Submit Grades:
Before February 6, 2026.
